Al-Shafa Mountains
Al-ShafaMountains are located nearly 2,400 meters above the sea level and are known for various kinds of glorious figs and honey. The Al-Hada and Al-Shafa Mountains are linked with a two-way road, therefore you do not need to reach the A-Shafa Mountains by reaching the Taif city center.
Souk Okaz
This is one of the popular places of Taif as this is the spot where the Arabs met together for
Hajj before Islam. Souk Okaz was considered as the famous platform where the poets, intellectuals and literatures used to meet up. Performances and folk art was also performed here in this market. Many tourists come from all over the world to see this site.
Rose Factories and Farms
The Taif government is famous for the production of Taif Roses and is also famous for producing the mesmerizing fragrance called “Eau de Parfum”. The production of the Taif Roses is being done since more than a hundred years. 700 farms are distributed in different regions.
Shubra Palace
This palace is located within the Taif Regional Museum. The Shubra Palace was the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense and Aviation. Now it has become one of the most vital places of the city.
Al-Kurr Tourism Village
Located 900m above the sea level, this village is famous for its beautiful weather in the summer. It has got the cable car station of Al-Hada near it as well.
Cable Car
The cable car station is located at the top of the Al-Hada Mountain and it has got a hotel plus restaurant with it.
Taif National Park
One of the most beautiful locations created by the government is the Taif National Park. Wild plants and amazing views can be seen from here.
Horse Race
Fans of horse racing can enjoy this beautiful sports place that is located at the Al-Hawiyah road. Horse races are held annually with prizes of luxury cars and such.
King Fahad Garden
This is the landmark of the Taif city. It surrounds with the green turf and it has got an artificial waterfall. Canteens, shops and restaurants are also situated here.
